Dornhügel Guestfarm, close to Grootfontein, is a truly Namibian experience. It has a super homey and welcoming atmosphere, you can relax at the pool, or join the farmer for a day and experience the rustic farm life first-hand, or do a cycle tour with fat bikes. Furthermore, the food is literally home made!!! Fine green salad from the garden, the most scrumptious, freshly baked bread and rolls with Marula, Kumquat or Prickly-pear Jam, dried tomatoes, the softest feta cheese and if you enjoy a proper steak, the meat is free ranged and provided from the farm!... And the night sky!!! It's mesmerizing!... I can go on forever.
Point is: I had the privilege to take photos of Dornhügel Guestfarm and to capture the essence which makes this country such a popular place to visit - you do not get this anywhere else in the world.
